Product Information

  • The Adam Sensor is a ring-like device that you wear at the base of your penis just before going to bed. The sensor is small, compact, and non-obstructive, so after a few minutes, you will not even notice that you are wearing it.

  • While you are asleep, the sensor continuously monitors changes in penile tumescence (the engorgement of the penis). When you wake up (hopefully after 8 hours), you simply end the measurement and remove the sensor. Upon ending the measurement the Adam Sensor transfers the data to the Adam mobile app installed on your phone. The transfer takes approximately 5 minutes. Our smart algorithms then analyze the data, and our app produces a report with the results of the measurement.

  • No, the Adam Sensor is not waterproof, so please keep it away from water.

  • The estimated battery life is approximately 10 hours.

  • In the box containing the Adam Sensor, there is a USB-C wire. You can use it to charge the battery. While charging, the Adam Sensor will display a red light, which will turn off once the battery is fully charged.

  • A single night measurement can be affected by various factors, so we recommend at least 3 nights of measurements and more to establish longer-term trends.

  • You can, however, it is not recommended.

  • The Adam Sensor is designed as a one-size-fits-all device, ensuring comfort and ease of use for all our users.

  • The minimum measurement time to be considered a valid measurement is 4 hours.

  • Yes, the Adam Sensor is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. There are constant updates to the software, so make sure that you have the Adam Health app set to automatic download for updates.

Results and Data

  • The Adam Sensor collects total tumescence throughout the measurement to determine erection episodes. 

  • There are currently two options to interpret the data from a measurement:

    1. Download raw data: This option is for users who would like to perform their own analysis of their data.

    2. Analyze my data: This option will provide users with a detailed analysis performed by our algorithm.

  • Yes, you can share your data with your healthcare provider to determine useful patterns.

  • Each erection episode has an erection quality score that is determined based on the baseline of the measurement.

Troubleshooting

  • If the sensor does not turn on, plug it into the charger. If there is no light indication, please contact our support team as the battery of the sensor might be defective.

  • For Android users:

    1. Open the Settings app on your device.

    2. Tap Apps.

    3. Tap the Adam Health app. If you can't find it, tap See all apps and choose the app.

    4. Tap Permissions.

    5. Ensure Bluetooth permissions are allowed for the app.

    For iOS users:

    1. Screen record the error.

    2. Email the recording to support@talktoadam.com.

  • The Adam Sensor’s design is one-size-fits-all to optimize user comfort. If it feels uncomfortable or restrictive, please contact us to replace your device.

  • Ensure that your Adam Sensor is connected to the app while trying to upload a measurement. If the Adam Sensor or your device has run out of battery, please charge them to reestablish a connection before trying to upload your data.

Maintenance and Care

  • There are antiseptic wipes included in the box. Use those as a reference if you wish to buy additional wipes. When cleaning your sensor, avoid any liquid touching the charging port or the switch.

  • Store the Adam Sensor back in its box to maximize protection.

Privacy and Security

  • You can permanently delete them by deleting your measurement in the app.

  • Yes, you can create a new email address to use the Adam Sensor anonymously.

  • Returns: Due to the nature of the Adam Sensor unfortunately we do not accept returns.

    Defective Products: If your fitness tracker is defective, we will offer you a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping costs.

  • Warranty: We stand behind the quality of our Adam Sensor and offer a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. If your sensor fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it free of charge.

    Warranty Conditions:

    • The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, or unauthorized repair.

    • Proof of purchase is required to claim the warranty.
